For twenty nine years, Susan has guided clients through their financial journeys. Her personalized approach makes financial planning straightforward, ensuring that every client feels understood and supported.

Born and raised in Downeast Maine, Susan moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1986. She is a graduate of UMaine.

Susan and her family divide their time between the USVI and coastal Maine. They enjoy spending time on the water together.  Susan loves outdoor life and her interests include gardening, kayaking, pickleball, fishing, and beekeeping. 

Susan serves on the Board of Trustees at Washington Academy, in East Machias, Maine.  She is a former member and past president of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas Sunrise.  Susan was the organizer and race director of the Rotary Sunrise Kids Triathlon.

Susan MacFarland-Helton, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.   She earned the AIF® Designation in 2014. Attainment of the AIF Designation demonstrates understanding of the Prudent Practices® and methodology.
